SMF modules can be glued directly to the roofs by "Quick-bonding." Quick-bonding involves no screw penetrations or mounting hardware, which simplifies the installation process greatly.
SMF modules use an organic polymer composite to replace the typical glass front sheet as a laminant. The polymer composite material used is extremely durable, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and climate conditions.
